Here are some events to expect every year!
General Meetings
Stay in the loop and connect with the VSA fam at our General Meetings, held three times eachquarter, usually every two weeks! These meetings are the perfect way to get updates on upcoming events, learn how to get more involved, and hang out with other members through fun activities and games. Each meeting wraps up with a fundraiser, so you can support VSA while enjoying great food or treats. Whether you're a returning member or new to the club, General Meetings are a fun and easy way to stay connected all year long!
ACE Week
Join us for ACE Week, where members have the chance to get picked up as a little or pick up as a big through our VSA mentorship program! ACE Week is all about building connections, gaining guidance, and becoming part of a supportive family system within VSA. Through a series of fun and meaningful events, you’ll meet new people, form lasting friendships, and find your place in our vibrant community. Whether you're looking for mentorship, friendship, or just a good time, ACE Week is the perfect way to get involved!
VCN
Vietnamese Culture Night (VCN), a celebration of culture, community, and creativity. This annual showcase features a captivating skit, tradition and modern dances, as well as a stunning fashion show highlighting Vietnamese attire. Whether you want to be part of the show or cheer from the audience, VCN is a chance for all members to come together and share the richness of Vietnamese culture.
Viet Idol
An event hosted by UCR’s VSA, that brings together talented performers from colleges all across Southern California to participate in a singing competition. Whether you're competing or cheering from the crowd, it's a night full of music, energy, and unforgettable performances. Contestants will battle it out for the title of Viet Idol, with special guest judges, live audience voting, and amazing prizes. Don’t miss this chance to showcase your voice or support your friends at one of the biggest VSA events of the year!
Welcome Week
Join us for VSA Welcome Week, a full week of fun, fundraising, and community as we kick off the school year! Throughout Week 1, we’ll be hosting a variety of events including field day games, fundraiser opportunities, and a picnic. It's a great way to connect with new friends, win prizes, and support our organization. The week wraps up with our first General Meeting, where you’ll get the inside scoop on what’s coming up for the school year!
Social
